This lecture examines the theme of Jewish resistance during the Holocaust. It asks the following question: can a human being who lives under extreme dehumanizing conditions such as those in the ghettos and the Nazi concentration and extermination camps resist? The lecture explores the range of possibilities that were available for the Jews to resist the Nazi persecution in the ghettos and in the camps. It discusses both armed resistance and spiritual resistance.
